Mother’s Day always brings me into reflection — and this year, I wanted to write you something straight from the heart.
I wasn’t always in a rush to become a mom. It wasn’t on a strict timeline for me — and yet, here I am today, with kids I adore and a deep love for the role I get to play as their mother.
It’s beautiful, yes. But also? It’s complex, stretching, and hard to balance sometimes.
We give so much of ourselves as mothers, business owners, creatives, and caretakers. And it’s easy to forget that we have to be there for ourselves too — as much (if not more) as we are for our kids.
I feel so grateful to have built a business that supports women and mothers. It gives me the flexibility to be the mom I want to be: the one who can do school drop-offs and pickups, the one who takes the after-school hours to focus on homework and bedtime snuggles — even if it means working into the quiet hours of the night after they’re asleep.
And yet, like many of you, I still have those moments where I wonder: Am I doing enough?
I feel guilty when I miss a school trip or can’t be there for every moment. But here’s what I remind myself — and what I hope you’ll remember too:
I want to teach my daughter how to love and care deeply for others without sacrificing her own dreams, values, and desires. I want her to see what it looks like to show up fully for her family and for herself.
So this Mother’s Day, I’m celebrating all of us — the mothers, the nurturers, and the women building lives that honor both their families and their hearts.
You are enough.
You are doing so much more than you realize.
And I’m standing in your corner, cheering you on every step of the way.
Happy Mother’s Day,
xoxo, Stephanie
